Downloading YouTube videos with ZamzarThis is a featured page

Zamzar is a free internet based application that allows users to convert various forms of digital media. Among it's many useful applications is the ability to download videos from YouTube for showing in your classroom; to beat the "streaming video blues" - (that choppy unpredictable manner in which streaming videos work at peak times - and on thin clients).

1. You'll want to add the "Convert It" button following the directions here.
2. Open the YouTube Video on your browser.
3. Hit the "Convert It!" button.
4. Select the format you would like the file to be saved in (we recommend wmv).
5. Wait for the email to arrive, telling you where your converted file is hiding.

Follow the on screen instruction to download the converted file.
