Make a Photo Album in PowerPointThis is a featured page

If you have taken pictures of your students, their projects, or class trips and want to share them with parents, other classes, etc., using the Photo Album feature in PowerPoint is an easy way to complete the task. Begin with the 2002 version of PowerPoint.

Note: The Photo Album feature is not available in older versions. PowerPoint 2000 users can download a special add-in program that allows the creation of photo albums. Go to http://microsoft.com/downloads/200/album.aspx Then, use the File menu to select New. Choose Photo Album from the General tab.

Open a new, blank presentation document. From the Insert menu, select Picture and then click on New Photo Album. Next, click on File/Disk or Scanner/Camera to insert your pictures. Here, you can select which pictures you would like inserted in the album by holding down the Control key and clicking on the ones you want included. If you want all of the pictures in the file to be included, hold down the Shift key and click on the first picture and the last one you want to select. Then, in the Photo Album box, under Album Layout, choose the Picture layout and Frame shape options you want. Select any other options you would like to use and when you are finished, click the Create button.

Remember to Save your presentation and then view the whole album in Slide Show view.
