Video - Using an LCD projector to display computer imageThis is a featured page

Problem: A video clip plays fine with Windows Media Player on individual computers but does not display when the computer is connected to an Eiki projector. The Windows Media Player window appears on both the computer monitor and the projected image, however, the actual video shows only on the computer monitor. Solution: Designate the Eike projector as the primary monitor as follows:
  1. Right-click on the Desktop and select Properties.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. Click the Advanced button.
  4. Click on the Displays tab.
Two monitors should be displayed with green tabs. The monitor on the left represents the standard computer monitor. The one on the right represents the Eiki projector. Click the upper left blue button as designated below. Click OK. This sets the Eiki as the primary monitor and should allow the video to play through on the projected image. Note: When this setting is enabled, the actual video may not display on the computer monitor. However, this will not affect viewing via the Eiki projector.
